Chi voted endorsed talent 2023
Every year, Amersfoort World Jazz selects a talented young artist who will be featured during the festival and will have the opportunity to perform with a variety of musicians and projects. The pianist and composer Siu Tin Chi from Macau (Hong Kong) was elected this year. Chi’s compositions are inspired by the classical and jazz music tradition, colored by her touch with Arab and Indian world music. Her own compositions combine classical melodies colored by intricate jazz harmonies that melt your heart; Indian and European folk rhythm elements intertwined with skillful improvisation.
