Where in the world can you enjoy a top big band on a Monday night? That is only possible during the Amersfoort World Jazz Festival. Dutch Jazz Collective led by the young drummer Sander Smeets plays rock hard swing and beautiful ballads. All this on August 8 in the FLUOR.

Pony Machine begon als een studioproject van gitarist/zanger Luc Schouten met zijn kameraden Reindert Kragt (bass) en Jeroen Batterink (drums). Sinds de zomer van 2019 is het trio ook live actief. De songs laveren tussen indie-jazz en experimentele pop, dan weer dromerig, dan weer onstuimig. Het drietal blinkt uit in doordachte arrangementen, met verrassende invalshoeken.
